Booking a course
How do I book a course?+
Find a school, choose a course and send an enquiry from its page; no account is needed. The school replies with a quote by e-mail, and you confirm your place with the school directly.
When am I charged for a course?+
Never on Lancourse. Browsing and enquiring are free, and Lancourse does not process payments. The school arranges payment with you directly, usually a deposit to reserve your place and the balance closer to the start date.
Are the prices on Lancourse the real prices?+
Yes. Schools set and manage their own prices in their own currency. We show an approximate conversion in your currency, refreshed daily, alongside the price the school actually bills.
Can I change my dates after enquiring?+
Yes. An enquiry is not a commitment; reply to the school and adjust weeks, dates or accommodation before you confirm.
Accommodation
Can I book accommodation with my course?+
Most schools offer homestays, residences or shared flats. Pick an option in the enquiry form and the school confirms availability with your quote.
What do room and board types mean?+
Single or twin describes the room. Board describes meals: half board usually means breakfast and dinner, full board adds lunch, and self-catering means you cook for yourself.
Visas and travel
Do I need a visa?+
It depends on your nationality, the destination and how long you study. Always check the official government source for your case; schools are used to issuing the paperwork visa applications need.
Should I book before applying for a visa?+
Usually yes, because the school issues the documents your application needs. Ask the school about its policy if a visa is refused before you pay anything.
Your account
Do I need an account to enquire?+
No. You can enquire as a guest with just your name and e-mail. An account simply keeps your enquiries in one place.
How do I contact the school directly?+
Reply to any e-mail the school sends you; replies go straight to the school, not to us. You can also message the school again from its page.
For schools
How do I list my school?+
Start with your work e-mail at the join page. Listing is free: our assistant reads your website, drafts your profile and courses, and you approve before anything goes live.
How do reviews work?+
Students write reviews, we moderate them, and your school can reply publicly. Honest replies to critical reviews build more trust than perfect scores.
